Cargill Salt terminal

The Salt Terminal is operated by Cargill Salt Company. The “Saliña Pier” is a bulk salt loading facility located at the South Western end of the Island. The facilities consist of a “T Head” Jetty with conveyor belt and Semi-fixed Spout with a loading rate of about 1,000 m/t per hour. There are no restrictions for Loa and Beam, no draft restrictions due to open sea approach and no Air draft restrictions for this Pier. Fresh water or bunkers is not available at berth.
