Latest technology drillship in Curacao

The Bully 1 is special, due to the compact -box type- drilling tower, instead of the conventional derrick. This allows for a significantly smaller sized ship, when compared to similar capability vessels with the conventional derricks.

The Bully 1 was off port for one day, during which time bunkers were delivered. As the same time, a full crew change took place, while barges delivered stores and spares. After the completion of these operations, the vessel came into St. Michielsbay and moored at the SPMB, where regular maintenance took place and preparations carried out for her on-voyage to the Gulf of Mexico.
